I was referred by a friend to work at a fazolis, She told me her manager said I was hired for sure. It's been a week already and I'm starting to think I'm not going to get a call anymore. What could be taking so long. I'm very interested, I don't want to bug though. This is my first job by the way.Why Haven't they called back? People who have a job answer this.10 points to whoever attempts to answer?
After a week, it would not be inappropriate to check back. Ive worked in a personnel office before.

Call and say something like.

" This is ____. Im calling back to express interest in working at Fazoli's, and was wondering if my application was still being considered"
