I'm doing a science project on how the human brain stores information and also need to know how much information it can store. Simple language please! I'm only in the sixth grade. This is difficult to answer because everyone is different and information cannot be calculated by what a human brain can store.

Studies have shown that if the human brain is heavier, has more ridges in the gray matter of the brain, it will function better. That is something testable and so a science project can be done on it.



Maybe you want to look at IQ of human beings because in general a person with more IQ is supposedly able to hold more information in their brain, so maybe you can look at a bell curve of an IQ test thats been done to answer your question. You cannot answer your question in any scientific way because information is things made up to make sense of our world while a brain is a physical thing.
