How do i delete all my information off of my iMac G5 Model No. A1195 when it has a cracked screen?

I'd like to delete all of my information off of my iMac, but the screen is cracked. Therefore, I cannot see anything. I want to delete the information so i can sell the computer. Is there anyway i could delete all of my information even though it has a cracked screen? if the windows xp install didnt work for you..
put a older operating system disk in there if you have one.. such as a windows 98 disk..
it should ask you if you want to boot to cd rom.. select yes..
it will then ask you if you want to run setup, or start computer with cdrom support..
select cdrom support.. it should load some stuff than take you to a command prompt..

in the command prompt type format c: and that should clear the drive.
